Transportation Scholars Application Information

The Graduate and Undergraduate Transportation Scholars Programs have different applications processes as indicated below.

Graduate Transportation Scholars Program

All U.S. citizens and permanent residents that are accepted into the transportation systems and transportation materials graduate programs are automatically considered for the Graduate Transportation Scholars Program. Selection of students for the Graduate TSP will begin on March 1. Students accepted into the graduate program after this date will be considered for the TSP only if funding is available.

Undergraduate Transportation Scholars Program

The Undergraduate TSP is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents. To apply for the Undergraduate Transportation Scholars Program, a student should submit the information listed below.

Letter of interest;
Completed application form;
Resume, including your age, education, work experience, awards, and accomplishments;
Summary of career goals and objectives (2 page limit);
University transcript (a copy is acceptable), and
At least two letters of recommendation.

The deadline for applying for the Undergraduate TSP is February 29, 2008.
