Application Process: University Requirements

Step 3 of 8: Official Transcripts and Records

The Office of Admissions requires official copies, either electronic or paper, of all transcripts and records from each post-secondary university or college attended. Applicants from an institution that does not issue a transcript in English must submit the native language transcript with an official English translation. Official translations are prepared by a recognized translation service and include all original seals and/or signatures.

To learn more about the required official transcripts and records, view the Office of Admissions' instructions for domestic and international graduate applicants.

Note: Please do not send your official transcripts to the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering. Doing so will cause a 2-3 week delay in your application processing. Please send official transcripts to the Office of Admissions only. If you must mail only one package (for financial reasons or other), please send all of your transcripts, recommendation letters, purpose statement and other application materials to the Office of Admissions. The Office of Admissions will forward your recommendation letters and other department-specific items to the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering, which will result in fewer delays.
