Students can earn a B.S.degree in civil engineering in the Coastal & Ocean Division of emphasis.
B.S., M.S., M.Eng. and Ph.D. in ocean engineering are offered through the Ocean Engineering Program, a separate degree-granting program within civil engineering.
The undergraduate program in coastal & ocean engineering in civil engineering is designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the basic sciences and engineering applied to engineered infrastructure in the marine environment. This bachelor’s degree provides opportunities in private industry, consulting firms and governmental agencies.
